I cannot get my cucumbers to pollinate. There are not many bees around here so I planted african basil between all my cucumbers to attract bees and I got a few but of course they spend 100% of their time on the basil. I hand pollinated the cucumbers and I know how to do so but I have lost about a dozen cucumbers as it is not taking and have not gotten a single one to grow. Does anyone else have any ideas or should I just give up? I use like 3 different male flowers per female and I do it throughout the day just in case(starting in the morning) but nothing works. I just had 3 more turn yellow and wither overnight.
