I buy several of the temptation packages to store in the cabinet, but once a bag is opened, I put it in a ziplock and refrigerate it. Maybe that’s an option?

I agree, put them in the refrigerator. Just put a few in the garage and put the extra in either the fridge or the freezer to keep for a long time.

I don't have a cat but my experience with treats for my dog is that I have tried all sorts and she likes them all but they don't all like her. So I have tried expensive and grocery store types and I have found that it doesn't matter if it's cheap grocery treats...those seem to agree best with her digestive system. I've had horrible luck with expensive treats with her. She just eats milk bones now because everything else just bothers her belly.

Thanks to both. I will try refrigeration. My doggies love milk bones more than anything else. They eat it with such gusto and delight, it makes me wonder if I’m missing out...however, not to the point of stealing their milk bones yet, ha

Watch out for anything made in China. Sadly, a lot of animals have died due to this problem :(

OT a bit, but I thought I'd mention that I just tried a new treat--my cat was getting bored with Temptations. I tried Sheba meat sticks and they are such a hit! I thought they were chews, like dog chews, and expected my cat to lick it and chew it at some length. But she inhaled the entire thing in almost one gulp--scared me! Now I break them into pieces and they are still gone within a minute or two. There are several flavors. (Not sure why this link comes out so huge):
