Hello, I am 23 years old and just went into contract on my first home out in Reno, Nevada. I am trying to figure out what paint schemes would work well for my new home. I don't plan on changing/painting the cabinets or tile and appliances will stay as is. I love entertaining family and friends so keep in mind the space will be used for that. Note that the colors in the pictures tend to be brighter than reality. The current paint in the kitchen is a deeper red.

Any suggestions to convert this aztec styled home into a more modern feel by changing the paint around would be greatly appreciated!
