My mother and my aunt had the same set. The styling is Duncan Phyfe and is probably mahogany. I would guess not older than the 1940's although maybe older. Hard for me to tell from your picture, but it looks like the chairs may have been stripped and refinished. The style was very popular and probably made by lots of firms. You could look on eBay and see if you could find comparables. There were variations on the style.

When you opened the table up as though you were going to insert a leaf, did you slide it out all the way? Sometimes they’re hidden in there. Other times if you pull the drawers out on the hutch usually one of them will have a marking somewhere either inside, outside, underside or back. But probably only on one. Undersides of chairs under the dust covers but not on dining chairs, usually only on accent pieces.

Most definitely a mass produced reproduction in the Phyfe style as mentioned before, which means it doesn’t really matter who the maker was. If it’s in great condition and a nice solid wood then it’s good set. Worth around $2000 but you’re hard pressed to get that in the used furniture market. If you ever did sell it, make the option of individual pieces as opposed to the whole set. You’ll make out better. It’s really lovely!

Being English, I am not that familiar with modern American furniture, but the the style is (Reproduction) Regency period (roughly 1805-1820) with typical drop-loop handles on the drawers and the chair design is 'shield-back'. Hope this helps.
