My daughter is dreaming of making her bedroom into a log cabin. It's a relatively small room, maybe about 8x10. We looked at actual log siding and it's too expensive. We found some log wallpaper that seems like our best bet. She is dead set against any faux painting.

Any suggestions for products I've not thought of or sources for log-ish material?

The current plan is to do the bottom half of the room in the logs, lay a chair rail of some kind and paint the top half and ceiling.
