    Hello,

You likely would want to get a Short Kit for this unit at the ceiling height to be able to mount the Hood 30"-36" above the cooktop. Give Zline a call at (614) 777-5004 and we can help with that order or any other questions you may have.

    Thanks,

Hello, I have an 48” double oven. I was told I needed a 1200 CFM hood, how is this possible?

    Hello,

If you have a 48" range top along with your double oven, it's likely the BTU output is high due to the size and number of burners. In order to determine the fan speed (CFM) you need for one of our hoods, you would need to add up the BTU (British thermal unit) output of each burner on your stove (manufacturers should provide this information), and then divide the total by 100, which will give you your minimum necessary CFM required.

For example, our 48" double oven and range top (RA48) has a total BTU output of 83,200, which would require 832 CFM to support. A 900 CFM hood would suffice in this situation, since our CFM option go from 400, 760, 900, to 1200.

    Hope this helps!
