Help! Another Range Hood Confusion Post

We've settled on the 36" RNB Blue Star rangetop. We're having a problem selecting a range hood.

We're considering the following options;

1. Best Classico Pro Wall Hood 42". Issue is with the blower. We'd like a quiet one so are considering the iQ blower. However, we're concerned the 600 CFM is not powerful enough. The 1200 CFM requires 10" ducting and will need to go through the roof in an undesirable location that we've been warned could be problematic from a leak perspective.

2. Kobe 42" Pro Style range hood, 1100 CFM. This hood requires 8" ducting which will work. However, it seems odd that 8" ducting would be sufficient for 1100 CFMs. As a side note, we had a similar Kobe range hood in another house and were happy with it. However, there have been some design changes since then (controls are knobs but used to be buttons, no warming lights).

We really like the pro style range hoods. Are there any other set-ups we should consider?

Also would appreciate feedback from others with similar set-ups.
