My question is... To keep the wall between the kitchen and living room or scrap it? The problem is the ceiling in the living room is vaulted and then 9' ceilings in the kitchen. My husband thinks it will look really weird with out a wall there to seperate the two, I think it will be fine and will give me a lot of differnt options of how to layout my kitchen and make the whole space feel bigger. The living room dimensions are 14'4x16 and the kitchen dimensions are 15'5x11. The other issue is removing the wall between the two gives up a lot of cabinet space but would allow me to add an island in our "U shaped" kitchen. The living room is the room with the vaulted ceilings and the kitchen is to the left of it in these pictures.
