Thank you for inquiring about our project. Every project we design is custom for our client, so although we cannot provide you with the sources/details, we would love the opportunity to work with you, should you be looking to engage an architecture firm. The fireplace of that dimension did take extra planning. Please feel free to contact us at info@cunniffe.com. Thank you again!

this type of fireplace is decorative only, actually efficient about 10-15% as the heat is dumped outside by power vent or similar mechanism, so there is really not even a radiant heat from the fire, the TV wont heat at all from fireplace

I think its gas. Although you can get burners that are long like this one:

    http://www.ethanolfireplacepros.com/eb6200-bio-ethanol-insert.html

Operating a fireplace that 3-4 times the size of the burner would costs hundreds of dollars to operate a day.

The above ethanol fireplace in the link takes 18 liters and is 62"wide, burn time is 12 hours per refill. Its 79 dollars for 12 litters of fuel...so you do the math. I am pretty certain that the fireplace is gas. Ethanol fireplaces are great where you can't install a gas line or want something for 2-3 hours a day.
