Just bought this Lane Acclaim table on Craigslist. It has 2 leaves, one of which is in it now. Questions:

1) need ideas for new chairs (these are my old chairs, temporary). We sat in a series 7 today at DWR and liked those, maybe in black because I have a lot of wood here already with Douglas fir ceiling, oak floor, and fir veneered wall. But very pricey...

2) should I relocate the bookcase elsewhere, and either leave that wall blank or get a more credenza style piece?

3). Hubby thinks it’s too big with leaf in for everyday. I think he’s just used to our old small table and it looks fine. Thoughts?

4). Any other ideas? I’m sure a rug would be nice but we have a kid and no eat in kitchen, so it’s not super practical as we eat here a lot.
