I bought it at my farmers market. The vendor couldn't tell me the name of it. She just said that it can be eaten in salads or dried to make tea. I bought it after seeing it being cultivated in mass by a neighbor in her vegetable garden. It looked so vigorous and pretty but she couldn't tell me what it was called either just that it could be eaten raw.

It looks like stevia, if its very sweet it should be some variation stevia.

Luciano, Thank you. I've found it though. It's called 'Ngo Om' in Vietnamese aka Rice patty herb. It's not sweet, the falvor is more akin to a mild citrusy-cumin, the leaves are much smaller than Stevia. I've potted some of the cuttings up and they've rooted and have begun growing.
