I'm seeing this more and more in the bay area. Used to be rarely if ever seen. This one in Fremont wins tallest at 12' or so.

You might know this as the Root Beer Plant,used in cooking to wrap foods. Same as Ti or Banana leaf. I wonder if it makes a tea also?
