I got home just fine. Had a wonderful time.

Had a very difficult drive home - the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen w/o it being the result of a hurricane. Just when you thought it was slacking off, the deluge came again. Flash flood warnings for many counties in the state until after 11 PM last night. Then I-40 was down to one lane heading East just outside Winston-Salem. This trip home took me 6 hours plus instead of 5 - at one point I could only drive 19 mph. But the retreat was a wonderful fun time!

I thought I checked in last night on the way home from the airport but I guess I didn't. My flights all went well. Al picked me up at the airport and we went to dinner. There were some serious thunder, lightning, and heavy rain on the drive home but all went well Good to be back although Tennessee is just beautiful.
