i'd repaint the red to the grout color. you might consider changing your front window. thats really what's putting a date on the house. same opening, with 3 or 4 evenly sized windows.

Here’s a close up of the brick... the mortar is pretty much the color of concrete. I don’t know who thought the red paint was a good idea, but they were mistaken! :) It just looks “heavy” or something.

Your house doesn't look dated at all. One thing that stands out to me is the white bricks give kind of a polka dot look. I'm not one for painting brick, but just wonder if the white ones could be toned down...?

Your roof looks gray-ish on my screen. If so, that's a good thing.

You could stain the white bricks with a concrete stain

when I purchased my home it had painted brick, and although it looks nice, it is a maintenance issue, so I would stay away from that. I agree that the white bricks need to be toned down with some type of masonry staining, and the red paint should be changed out with maybe a putty color.

Brick staining the white bricks is an easy fix and something I hadn't thought of. That could be a good change. I'd like to put a full view storm door on the front and maybe add a pop of color with the front door. Should I consider toning down the white garage door too?

If your front door is solid, I would paint it and replace the storm door with a glass one.

Another option would be to paint your trim dark grey.

Keep the garage door white to match the trim around the windows (you don't want to darken your house, the brick is dark enough). Try a warm subtle color door with maybe matching shutters, that may make your house pop!
