Hey, I was wondering. What is the best way to save Silver Maple seeds? I’ve tried just keepng them in a plastic bag in the refrigorater but they either get moldy or the still germinate a few months later.

The reason I’ve tried saving silver maple seeds because I thought of saving them until autumn and trying to grow them in the house during the winter months under a grow light. Can I just store them in a freezer to keep them from drying out or germinating before I’m ready for them?

I grow them in the summer to but I thought of trying to grow` them in the house during the winter asan expement. I’ve done this with Sugar Maple and Bur Oak. Please let me know. Thanks.
