Vent liner for custom hood over 30" induction range?

Eek!

We planned to use the 36" Jenn-Air vent hood with our 30" Jenn-Air induction range. But we had the cabinet for it installed today and it is overwhelmingly huge in our small kitchen!!!

Our appliance guy has suggested switching to either of these 2 options so that we could reduce the size of the hood cabinet. Anyone familiar with either of these?

1. Vent-a-hood, KH34SLD.

2. Venmar, CPM1369SS

Looking at specs, seems like the VH is quieter but has a lower CFM. Anything else worth knowing?

If you have a grill in your cook top bigger and more cfm are better than less cfm.

I recommend you check with the Jenn-Air to see what they recommend for ventilation over your range.
