P.S. These are known botanically as "incomplete flowers". In tomatoes, I believe that the first flowers produced by a tomato plant may be that way. Certainly exposure to low temperatures can make them that way too.

Thanks for reply. Correct - other tomato plants have well formed flowers coming in that look completely normal.

This particular one is a Mr Stripey variety. I’m in the DFW area - we’ve had some funky weather (eg 85 dropping to 35), but I brought in plants when temps dipped below 40.

I'd be more concerned about all the bright yellow spots on the plant in the photo. It certainly isn't normal. Looks a lot like herbicide drift or some other spray damage.

The yellow is sunlight. Photo taken as sun was setting. The plant is a nice healthy green color all over.

so what happened at end? Did it turn normal and grew any fruit? This happened to my tomato too.

It eventually made more normal flowers maybe 4-5 weeks after this. Set some fruit, but was a super low producer.
