Need help on what to do with exterior before paint. Modern Farmhouse

We are going for a modern farmhouse look. getting ready to paint the exterior and was wondering opinions on what to do with the wood above the smooth stucco. We can add siding delete anything etc. Any and all opinions welcome! We are also adding board and batten shutters to each window on the exterior.
