Go for it! Your room is plenty big enough and that slant won’t be much of a visual problem! Doing the master bath in a coordinating or same paper would be lovely too.

I just watched "Flip or Flop Vegas" last night on HGTV and they did wallpaper on the walls and ceiling. I'm sure you can put wallpaper on a slanted wall (I also have slanted walls in the bedrooms in my house.

Wallpaper on slanted walls is wonderful. And doing a coordinating paper in the bath will be perfect. Watch your match drop measurements, especially if using very expensive paper. For example, a 27" match would waste a lot of your precious paper. Send us a picture when you finish. Have fun.

We like to sleep in cozy spaces, it makes us feel safe. Wallpaper away! That paper is gorgeous by the way.

Keep the bed where it is. Then, make sure you run the wallpaper all the way up to the flat part of ceiling. That will help elevate the eye and the feel of height of ceiling. Great project. If you haven’t hung wallpaper suggest you get pro to do this. Harder to do with height and angles. I woukd do bathroom in waterproof wallpaper that compliments bedroom paper. I wouldn’t use same paper in bath.

is it possible to place the bed where the cabinet is? You could wallpaper that wall . Here is what I would do , wallpaper one full wall and wallpaper the wall behind the bed only on the lower part of the walls paint the same blue as the wallpaper above it and you will get this look. Yes paint the ceiling as well to wrap it all .

Thank you so much for your feedback everyone! Now I'm really excited about the idea. I have yet to investigate wallpaper yet. I'm thinking something with a larger print. Good point about the drop measurements. I didn't even really know what that was until one of you mentioned it and I looked it up. Some of you say same paper in the bathroom others say coordinating paper. Any additional thoughts on that?

Nikki, we are looking forward to seeing your choice of wallpaper! If the wallpaper you do choose is vinyl coated and suitable for bathrooms then fine. Make sure you have good ventilation and a vented ceiling fan in your bathroom. Most wallpaper today is coated but some of the more expensive hand screened types are not and wouldn’t be suited for bathrooms and high humidity. If you haven’t hung paper before you may want to have a professional paper hanger do it. Just check the specs first and you can always get a coordinating paper for the bathroom.

Nikki, I think it is wonderful that you have the verve to put an interesting wallpaper like your inspiration pic.up and onto the slant of your ceiling. That has so much potential , but I think you will need to be judicious in your selection if you are wanting a lyrical landscape type of pattern . ( Is that what you liked - or just the vivid colors ? )Some might look odd once they pass the vertical point, but taking it up to the flat part of the ceiling is what gives it such a special look and maintains the height of the room.It would be easier to do this idea with an all-over pattern ,even a large scale one, I would think. This just occurred to me when I was looking at some birch tree paper - but then wondered how the trees would look once they traverse the bend ?! I don’t know ... Wanted to also mention you could always just pull one of the predominant colors to paint in co- ordinating your bath. Definitely do the paper on the bed wall. Can’t wait to see what you choose .

I agree with MS Colours - in fact, I said that in my comment . I mentioned the paper should go all the way to the flat part of the ceiling in order to retain the visual height in the room . My comment about painting a co-ordinating color was specific to the bathroom. TO CLARIFY - in some of the pics. I posted there IS NO slope , I realize . They were just papers with either an all-over pattern example or with similar colors to the OP. At to the comment about wasting a lot of paper if you have a drop match, that's not so. If you work off of two rolls, and alternate the strips, the waste will be the same as a straight match.
