Hi Anna, thank you for your inquiry. This particular gate does slide to the side but could also be done in a double-leaf swing gate version. The track for the gate can be done flush with proper coordination with the contractor doing the hardscape. A channel must be preset or cut out to have the track sit flush to the surface of the driveway. Before pouring or setting the hardscape on the driveway it will be of essence to anticipate the gate installation and prerequisites to achieve the desired outcome.
