I saw some white wild ones growing on the right-of-way near here, but they were next to a yard, so I didn't feel comfortable digging them up. I'm hoping to find some somewhere else once it starts raining.

I saw bunches on US98 tween perry and crawfordville, also some on Interstate 10 tween I75 and Tally

DG you'll get a kick out of this. Last year we rescued two rain lilies from a burm. They've already bloomed this year.

bea, I'll find some eventually. I found a clump of blue-eyed grass yesterday that isn't on anybody's property. It's in a ditch on the right-of-way near a fenced-in Dept. of Transportation borrow pit that was used to build I-75. I was going to go dig them up yesterday, but forgot. It's raining today, so the ground will be good and soft. I'll get them later this afternoon. Hopefully, these will live. There are so many down that road, but most are near someone's property. I don't like to dig those, even though they're on the right-of-way.

saw some more on I75 just north of exit 390 on east side, will throw a shovel and bucket in my van and get a few. did not see a do not mow sign and am sure they will be cut with grass pretty soon...
