Such an opportunity to give your home some color when guests first walk in. Why not find beautiful pictures from local artists. I would not do cushions, those are when people will be sitting, that is a hallway not lounging space. Are you replacing the lighting at the front door...what are those 3 lights hanging down?

If you can find someone that’s good with sculpting. I would love to use this in my front dining room where a niche has been cut out.

How do you feel about exposed washer dryer in a very very tiny kitchen in 500 square-foot condo? I want a washer and dryer in my kitchen and my designer has come up with the following solution.

If it were mine I would turn them into library shelves. Display books, art and objects.

I really like the idea of adding shelves to display books, art, plants, etc. But I also like the idea of a window pane mirror that echoes the arched shape of your niches.

I would suggest art to adorn the walls. Which would add color and warmth to the space.

I would do art ...it's a nice look ..you don't need cushions ..because it may interfere with the art ( leaning against it ) it's nice just art ...and lighting from above ...
