In the corner I would put a tall plant--I tend to gravitate towards palm trees or ferns--and on the table between the chairs I would put a plant with red-orange flowers. I would also add a red-orange throw pillow to one of the chairs. I think the dark green and red--orange would play off the wall color and also the white on the chairs.

That's a fabulous industrial look to which I would add an extra large and colorful framed poster, either modern or vintage. If you can find about 10 bicycle wheels, YES, just the wheels, you could create a piece of art on the wall by overlapping the wheels in an interesting pattern, connecting them together with wire and then mounting the whole thing on the wall.

I'm interested in how you hung the pipe banister down the stairs. I want to do that to the steps down to my basement. Any advice on how to hang this?

My husband screwed the flange into the studs along the staircase and purchased different lengths of pipe to fit between each section. Hope that helps! Good luck, enjoy!!
