Meiwa kumquat are grafted to C35 as side and cleft grafts, All the T-buds are Fukushu and NZL.

Good luck Steve!! I’m so impatient to unwrap mine, but I have another week and a half.

I hope they take Steve! My bud grafts did not end up taking, but the cleft grafts did...go figure.

My side graft Meiwa is dead, Top graft Meiwa is dried out up to the closest bud. I forgot to mark which grafts are which so the 6 remaining grafts I don't know which rootstocks have which variety. It will become obvious if they grow.

My fingers are crossed for you, Steve! When will you unwrap your bud grafts? Mine is at 3 weeks today and I’m wondering if I should wait a few more days.

Math was wrong. 15 days not 22 days since grafting. They are still green so i taped and bagged the grafts up and bent over the tops to force the new buds. I will wait for another 4 day before exposing the other 3. I will wait for another 2.5 weeks before exposing the Meiwa on C35 graft.
