Yes, laza is used a lot with white cabinets and it looks great. I’ll send you more pics tomorrow.

I just took a pic of my sample laza next to my sample cabinet... this is without flash

    This is with flash...

Here are more pics... this is the side of cabinet with counter...

We have an MSI showroom in MA... and we loved the veining in the LAZA and we looked at all the MSI samples. There are other ones that are whiter... but the laza was “white enough” for us.

Here are older pics... before the backsplash was installed...

@User could you tell me your views on your white cabinets with the laza ? Possibly more photos would be amazing!

@Pauline Eliopoulos i just so you’re photos you posted! These help so much! Too me, it looks great with white cabinets and to my eye looks like a match? Really beautiful kitchen and thank you for the time you put in to send those photos !

I love the Calacatta Laza, white cabinets and definitely the combination of the glass subway tile which you can do either in white or in a light gray matching the tone in the gray veins in the Calacatta also you can do a glass back splash in a light gray which would look beautiful!

@CB Interior Design thank you so much! This is going into a log cabin with all glass slidinng doors and windows on the one side of the kitchen so I’m hoping we have enough light to make the background of laza more white. I’m wanting to do backsplash where the hood will be possibly stone? To match the stone fireplace in the living area. What do you think? My colors of kitchen is white, hoping laza, dark navy island with light grey wash flooring .

You are very welcome Ashley! Yes you can do the back splash in stone where to hood goes, what color stone you have in the fireplace? I like the idea of matching the stone to the one you have in the fireplace but it has to work with the color concept you are using in the Kitchen so the stone must be in the grayish tones.

@CB Interior Design oh good point, the fireplace is more of tanish/brownish:grayish haha so yes I’ll try and go with a gayish stone! :)

Yes Ashley that would be perfect look for a grayish stone that will work with the color scheme in the kitchen and still will coordinate with the stone in the fireplace since you say it has a little grayish tone in it.

@CB Interior Design thanks so much! Can’t wait :) could I ask you when your choosing between standard rail cabinets and wide rail cabinets .. how do you know what looks best in certain kitchens??

I am thinking of doing the Laza on the counters and backsplash.I love the veins - not thin - not wide - mix of gray and brown. My cabinets are a true white. I am worried about how the milky white background of the Laza will look with my cabinets. I know it will never be a perfect match.

@jayce24 same here!! All the white kitchens with laza seem to match so well but I can never truly tell. But it looks beautiful from photos ! If you find any photos or in real life slabs post them here!

You are welcome Ashley! It is going to look beautiful! Regarding your question between standard rail and wide rail cabinets, there is not rule of thumb as which would look better. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It depends upon the overall look you are trying to convey.

My kitchen remodel is underway. The cabinets will be Sherwin Williams Snowbound with matte black knobs and pulls and considering Laza. Anyone else have this paint color and used these tops? We do not have a lot of natural light.

    Hi Pauline,
I just happened upon this thread and wanted to say the pic with the backsplash are perfect!! That backsplash really highlights and compliments the counter. Nice job! Love it.

Thanks!! That means a lot considering it took me forever to figure it all out!!! :)

I plan on using this with really white BM chantilly lace white cabinets. There is a slight variance but counters should generally be a slight darker tone than the cabinets or it can make them look dirty or older. Cabinets look better when they are a tad brighter.

If anyone wants a bright white, Sio4 has a lot of choices.

Pauline Eliopoulos are your cabinets white dove? does anyone have white dove cabinets? I am contemplating on Laza vs. Botanica vs. the Statuary Classique (which seems TOO white for my white dove cabinets)

Does anyone with Laza have a seam they would be willing to share a picture of? Our island is going to be 13 feet so we need a seam and I'm just interested to see what it looks like!

@Shilpa Patel if you haven’t decided on the counter, consider Caeserstone Sturatio Nuvo, it’s not as white.

Did my cabinets in BM Decorators White. Perfect with the Laza.

Pauline Eliopoulos- beautiful kitchen? Do you have a finished pic? I’ve been considering the Splendour backsplash, or Bedrosians Cloe..

    Oh no! I didn’t mean ?.. It IS a Beautiful Kitchen!!!!!! :)

Hi Pauline, Can you tell me what color grout you used with the Splendorous white subway tile?

@Pauline Eliopoulos Your kitchen is beautiful. We were thinking of going with the same tile. Do you know what color grout was used?

Also who makes the 3x12 splendours tile in white that you used?

Ashley Phillips can I ask what backsplash you ended up picking as I am looking at similar kitchen colors with a navy island

@Mmoneill23 how did your seam turn out? We are running into the same issue and I find myself stressing about it.

Mmoneill23 how did your seam turn out? We are in the same boat.

@Pauline Eliopoulos love your backsplash! We are having our calacatta laza countertops installed tomorrow and felt really drawn to your backsplash. Where did you purchase and what color grout did you go with? Do you have a finished photo of your kitchen. It's beautiful!

Hi there, I was just wondering how the Calcatta Laza turned out for you? Is it durable? I really would love this white quartz - but Im hearing horror stories about cleaning quarts and that it stains easily. We are a super busy household with a small child so we def use our counters A LOT! thank you kindly for your time.

Hey everyone! Saw this post - also trying to find a backsplash with Laza BUT twist is I have hexagon tile flooring...I am trying to find a marbe looking tile that is similar to the LAZA - or do you think I should stick with subway tiles? It might be too busy with the floor

Hi Everyone! For those of you that installed Laza Countertops, have there been any negative experiences with the countertop? I love the Laza but there are so many negative discussions about MSI and the quality of their quartz so I am thinking to stay away... any feedback would be helpful! Thanks!

@Pauline Eliopoulos your kitchen is beautiful! I know I am late to post but was wondering if you could tell me what color your paint is? We originally thought we would go with sherwin williams, assessible beige paint, but the lady at sherwin williams told us we needed to go with gray paint because the lazo had gray veins in it. It was good to see you mention that the viens are taupe/gray.

@Katherine Manthei i have similar colors and floor with my laza countertop. Fid you find a backsplash you like?
