My first impression is that it's chlorotic. Give it some fertilizer and, if it's chlorotic, it will turn green.

What makes me think that is that the veins appear to be green while the other areas are yellow.

I need to get over to Lowe's! Although I just ordered the TF from an online resource. I guess I probably don't need two. Haha

Bkay, maybe it is chlorotic. I’ll give it some fertilizer and see if it changes. Good thought. But I’m almost 100% sure it’s not tokudama. The leaf shape and form and size are just so different. TF has almost heart shaped leaves, very round, with no twisting. The little yellow one is much smaller, and has elongated somewhat pointy or triangular leaves, and they wave and twist.

It's still young so hard to say, but here is my long shot guess. It reminds me of how Parhelion looks when it comes up. It has that narrow white edge and is more of a lime green in color. But like I said, it's a long shot at this stage to be able to tell what it is.

It might not have a name. When the grower potted up thousands of tc's no one noticed that 'one of these things is not like the other'. Hostas sport easily, and a lot of sports show up in tc's even more because so many are made at one time. Or one pot of something else got into the bunch. Grow it for a few years and see what happens. Should be fun for you. Take a "school pic" of it each year to follow the progression.

Sandy, It doesn’t really look like Parhelion right now, but I’ll keep an eye on it. I know mature hostas can look very different,

that would be neat if it was a new sport. I’ll just watch it as it grows, and we’ll see how it looks when it gets big! Good idea about the “school pic.” :)

Ok! Thanks for that info! Maybe that’s what it is! The second picture looks the closest to what I’ve got, except without the twisted leaves.
