Sorry but all I see are a couple of sun scorch spots or maybe some wind damage which is quite typical for transplants that haven't been properly hardened off first. Any drooping or leaves dropping are most likely just simple transplant shock, again very common.

The only other possible explanation I can think of would involve pest damage but you would see those.

Overall they look like ok transplants to me.

VERY late to get spinach in zone 6. I normally sow spring spinach in February--lengthening days combined with heat make it bolt.

Yes, I know it’s late for spinach, but with the colder weather it’s been hard to get anything to even germinate outside until lately. I did direct seed spinach in March but it’s growing too slowly, hence I bought transplants. I had some indoor starts from February too, but those didn’t make it either.

Plant spinach seeds in the garden at the end of summer. Winter the plants over and in spring you'll have big plants before the heat and long daylight bolt them.
