PS HD tile is really shockingly terrible quality. It's almost never worth the cost savings because it is more difficult and expensive to install.

Looking for something that is not trendy. 6x6 white would fit the bill. I do like the lower picture - I have seen that. What afraid the smaller pattern would be too 'busy' for a small space? I am not a designer like I said...

Cement might be a bit trendy I have to admit. As long as a pattern is scaled appropriately to the space (like it should be closer to a 1-2" repeat instead of a 12" repeat) and the color variation isn't too strong (white and grey, or 90% white 10% black), it will actually serve to give your eye a focal point which helps the room feel less crowded. If you do go with a patterned floor, make sure to keep the rest of the room neutral and light like in those pictures. Here are some other options that lean more towards neutral and classic. What style is your home? Black and White hexagon tiles are extremely classic and can often be found in tiny colonial bathrooms.

Not really much of a style yet. Slowly renovating. It is coastal home.. realtor called it a low country style (2 story cedar siding wrap around wide porch). Soft pastel colors - nothing heavy or very formal (no wicker inside lol). Kitchen will be white cabinets with shaker style doors. Hardwood oak floor in picture is in down stairs and will be slightly lighter when I sand and refinish it. New white w&d and white cabinets are going in above w&d. Does that help?

Joe, that tile you picked is great for a bathroom. I don't think it works w/your laundry room. and it won't work w/yellow.

Why don't you try a large format hex tile in a nice porcelain? The shape goes w/you decor, they're inexpensive and easy to care for. lots of colors, and sizes.

you can even mix colors for an interesting floor.

they even have them as large as 14x16 (less grout lines to keep clean)

or maybe consider these longer tiles in a herringbone pattern. white and gray would look nice w/the yellow walls.

Have you considered sheet vinyl? Mannington has some awesome colour patterns. I'm actually going with the Deco Wrought Iron pattern for my laundry room.

I like the hex. Does gray go with our hardwood floors? Or white hex with gray grout?

Do not want to do vinyl. I like it but washer is so heavy it tore through last vinyl. Would rather do tile but thank you.

Slate look porcelain tile looks great next to hardwood and would look nice with your walls too. I'd use one that doesn't have too many color variations.

Joe, yes. different tones of gray, but they should be fine. in this layout they've feathered it into the wood flooring

Beth would the hex in white with maybe grey grout have the same effect?

I would continue the wood look with porcelain tile. I don't think the tile choices above work well with the shiplap look.

rococogurl thought of that but master bedroom next to laundry room has hickory flooring with rest of house being oak. For me it would be too many wood choices too close together. If that makes sense? The porcelain wood is pretty amazing though.

We are leaning towards this with a medium gray grout.
