About a week ago I dug up the bed where I am going to plant 2 cantaloupe plants next week. I noticed while I was digging there were tons of worms, which I was glad to see. This weekend I noticed that the bed is crawling with those "rolly poly" bugs, milipedes, centipedes, and some other type of worm looking bug that had come up, im guessing because of the recent rain.

Im planting my cantaloupes next Saturday, yet I have no idea what are good pests and what are bad. I have done plenty of googling but always find such a mix of information, Im not sure how to sort it out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am planting several other types of plants in the weeks following.
