Bradington Young Barnes leather recliner

We are considering purchasing 2 of these chairs. There are negative comments which go back many years-nothing really current. Two higher end stores in our area are selling them which gives me some confidence in the product. Any comments on chairs purchased within the last 5 years on quality, durabilty?

B-Y builds a solid product, they have been doing it a long time. In my opinion (I've been a dealer for them for over 30 years) what they make today is BETTER than in years past. However, the best leather recliner on the market is Hancock and Moore, and that will also come with a higher price tag.

Bradington Young produces a fine product. There’s always going to be the princess searching really hard for that pea under 1000 mattresses.

Bradington Young makes outstanding recliners. The Barnes is a good seller and we have had no negative reviews by customers that have purchased that style. That recliner comes with several options for reclining. Standard is manual recline but you can upgrade to power or even battery pack for free floating in your room. Also, the standard cushion in that recliner is spring down which is an excellent cushion for longevity and comfort. Hope this helps you!
