I'm pretty sure these are all the same plant from different angles.

Guacamole in my cold condition gets perfect color in august and tried to bloom in the end of september....

Phew, ok! So I'm just being impatient :)

Also, the older they get, the better the color, in my experience.

Mine stayed mostly green last year. I didn't notice much variegation. My Stained Glass also do not seem to experience the variegation I've seen posted here. But they are still lovely nonetheless. And I will say the flower stalks on Guacamole are quite stunning.

Popmama, yes, the flowers are lovely...unfortunately the bunnies think so as well. :/

I do love Guacamole, to eat and the hosta. Mine is just starting to show itself, no leaves yet. Here is a shot from last year. Sorry the slugs did like it but I still like the picture.

My Guacamole has large all green sports that I regularly cut out. Mine is just coming up so I will have to look when it unfurls soon.
