Here is the Worldly Gray color strip...

Maybe working your way up on the color strip will give you the brown you are looking for:)

My whole house is sw worldly gray. it was painted just before we purchased. I like the color a lot in some of my rooms, but not so much in others....in some light it looks very tan, others, very gray and occasionally it looks sore of purple. if you go that route- be sure to test it in big patches in all of the spaces you want to use! I'd post pics but it is SO hard to photograph on my phone with good lighting. I would call it 'greige'--not grey or beige. Did you look at agreeable gray? it is even warmer/more beige.

Also check revere pewter. I think that's a BM color though.

If you really like colonnade gray, but want it lighter, have them make it at 25 or 50%. If I recall, colonnade has some green tones? again test it out in your space!

adparker53 I tried revere pewter. Hated it. Too dark and looked like baby poo. Don't want to go mucking with the formulas, to risky. The worldly gray looks just ...gray to me. Agreeable gray is lighter at 60, but I guess I can try that.

kjoy1 Amazing gray, the next color on the color strip, is LRV 47, way too dark.

Worldly Gray was one of our options. We tried out Light French Gray and my husband said it seemed weirdly blue/periwinkle to him. We ended up going with Repose Gray for our main living spaces and couldn't be happier. I believe it's at LRV 58.

I'm down to deciding between Light French Gray and Worldly Gray. Yes, the Light French Gray definitely looks blue to me downstairs. My girlfriend thinks the Light French Gray is classier than the Worldly Gray though. What to do.

My office walls are Lowe's Gray. I went to Lowe's, liked the paint on their walls, and found a color strip to match it. It seems much darker in a small room, but it's fine. Just what I wanted.
