I want to plant some yews along my lot line to block some undesirable views of neighbor's stuff. Yews are the perfect material except that the site is under the canopy of my mature walnut. . . I see yews are named on at least two lists of plants that do thrive in the root zone of a walnut (due to the toxicity of the juglone of the walnut). If anyone reading this can tell me their experience with yews in proximity of walnut, I'd really like to know how it turned out in your yard! Thanks very much.
