I love the blue and white, but I think the table and chairs are a mite too big! I was thinking about taking off the top doors of the cabinets and lining them with a copper mylar paper. What do you think?

Also, should I take the curtains to the end of the wall?and get rid of the rounded ends at the counter?

Looks like it has a good layout. Painting the cabinets and adding new hardware will do wonders. What about white uppers and blue on the bottoms. and

I am not a fan of open shelving in the kitchen. I think the everything get dust and grease on it, but you can see what it would look like in the Cape Cod kitchen pictured above. No to taking the curtains to the end of the wall. Keep the window treatment light and simple.

Thank you, Houssaon! I love the white on top and marine blue on the bottom. That might look really cool with the copper lined cabinets. I used to have a wall of shelves next to my stove for spices and turquoise Ball jars with pantry staples. What a great mess that was. It had to be washed every week! This stovetop here is one with a vent that pulls the air down into it. I wonder if that is better...
