So I had a simple soil test done for one bed, and all the major nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) are in abundance. But sodium is listed as "extremely low". Not sure what to make of that. Obviously too much sodium (as in sodium chloride) is bad. But I'm not aware that sodium is any respect an essential nutrient for plants, so extremely low sodium isn't anything that needs correcting. True? I'm assuming they bother to test for it just to see if it is high.
