That would definitely look super busy. Best bet is to center it over the gable or remove and replace one of the window with the door. That will likely be the cheaper option based on the lack of framing required if you stay withing in the window opening framed size.

I'd want it centered under the gable, it would drive me crazy if it was slightly off center. But cutting out one of the windows and putting the door in there would be the cheapest.

It looks like some of your utilities are coming into the house from this wall though so that's going to impact things.

You cannot put a door in between those two windows, there is not enough room and it would not be centered. I would center the front foot under the high point of the roof which means you will also have to reposition the windows on either side.
