They both look fantastic! I would find a great rug, wool, for the floor, they look much richer and higher end than cotton mats do. They also give the opportunity to bring in some rich color, pattern and texture, a great finishing touch- then pull colors from the rug for your towels (or anything get one to coordinate with the towels you have)

I think you did a wonderful job! The black hex on the last picture is gorgeous.
