So far we've had great hosta weather in NJ. Frequent rain....not to many hot days. So far, so good!

Curious where in NJ are you?? I have been enjoying this Spring and the fairly regular rains most of last year too (except late in the year). I am in central NJ (not far from Flemington) and there were several hot summers where rain seemed to avoid us.............often going a little south, north or west. Those drought years played havoc on the Hostas and I had several large, established clumps dissapear. Hopefully the regular rain continues. Very nice Hosta you have!

Beautiful! Ivory Coast looks alot like my Liberty. Do you have both and if so, what are the main differences? You have done a great job so enjoy the spring show!!

Thanks for the kind comments. More rain today, and continuing right through the weekend. Good for them, but would like some sun!

Woodnative....not far from you...South Plainfield. I'm sure we will still get our stretch of 90+ days w/high humidity, and your right, it's draining on the plants.

threedogsmom.....Liberty and Ivory Coast are both Sagae sports. Look pretty similar to me.
