I bare rooted three echiums and transplanted them to different soil mixes. This particular plant is in a mix that is 30% peat and drains very well. It has been kept moist because the other plants in this set of three had transplant shock. So far the leaves are not wilting on this plant in the peat mix. Unfortunately, the tips of the leaves are turning a strange reddish color, and some are brownish. Is this a simple sunburn and I need to take the plant out of direct sun until it starts to establish? Or is there some disease at work here?
