Thanks P. I wear a mask and gloves everyday I go out and have for over three weeks now. Ellen is okay. We meet with oncology on Monday to hear final analysis of how chemo went over the past 3.5 months. Pins and needles.

I LOVE the sconces as well and really the pillows will look fine however you and the J-bird finally decide. I just thought of calling her J-bird when y’all called her J. I think it’s cute … just like her. 😉. Hope she’s not offended.

Everyone needs to wear a mask since there are so many unknowns out there. And so many people are asymptomatic and we can’t know who they are. Better safe than sorry.

I can imagine you are on pins and needles. Is the majority of people wearing them?Where do you live again? South Carolina? I haven’t seen anyone wearing a mask here but then again I haven’t been out except to the dog park.

We only go out to get meds from Drive-Thru we order needed groceries and have them delivered...such a pain having to wipe everything off before it comes in the house! my husband and I both wear masks and gloves when we step outside! He has asthma and I have a blood disorder..so not taking any chances...😷

Only if I go out during the day when neighbors are out...but I like to wait until around 9:00 to walk the dog.....nobody is out so I don’t wear them...

I have just the duvet folded down. My sheets and blanket are just done normal. I don’t find it bulky ...gives it more of an updated look In my opinion.

I will give it a try - it does look nice folded down. I have never had a duvet before so not used to the little details.

It is fun to see 3 totally different looks with the same bedding. Julie definitely has a talent 😊.The pillows we sleep on are behind the large tan euro pillows. This is my first duvet as well and it is pretty folded down so you can see the buttons too.

Good Morning Amanda! I don't bake at all but would love to! I have no willpower and would eat it all. Any sweets we have in the house( we have none right now!) he locks up in a cupboard in his workroom from me. :)

We went for a great walk in the woods this morning down to a lake. It was crisp out 38 degrees but sunny. Later today we are going to dog park! So many happy dogs there.

I am binging on "Bull" right now. I am into the third season. I am enjoying it. As I watch it , I shop on-line. :)

I have been reduced to ordering my Easter candy on line, Its not the same. I love going down the candy aisle and looking at all those fun jellybeans and chocolate eggs. Not this year!

I went to Pet store for pick up nail cutters. And drop off stuff for my daughter w/o going in. A wave to her & kids. A drive up to pick up chicken dinner.

Go down the candy isle at the supermarket just wear a mask and have hand sanitizer in your purse or car and wash your hands when you’re back in your car. Be vigilant and you’ll be fine.

My husband said his office is running low on masks (he is a physician) so I started researching what I could make for him. I am using the pattern put out by a hospital in my state which has a pocket for a filter:

For the filter I am using two layers of blue shop towel as per this article:

I put a casing across the top and inserted some picture hanging wire to shape the mask around the nose. Tight fit is super important. If your glasses are steaming up, your mask is not tight enough. I've had to switch from elastic to ties because elastic is gone from my area.

Good Afternoon! I am late getting on Houzz today. I was on hold with Pier One for over 3 hours again. I got nowhere. They did offer to lower shipping to a $100 but it would be free if i just wait it out and pick up in store. Who knows if the chair will be the right color so hate to pay $100- and it will come some day. Just don't know when. Patience is a virtue they say!

Looking for a lamp for the kids play room. I am terrible at lamps! I just want an inexpensive one and white. This one is 26 1/2 inches. Would this work? 14 inch shade.

No it just doesn’t work I don’t like the drum shade on your dresser..I can’t wait to see the Granada...the shape I think will work best with your dresser...

It IS a pretty lamp- I agree. Not terrible but I agree the Granada will be better!
