Flooring is going to be the darker one

mary, sorry, but that 4" piece should have been removed before doing the tile. both of them look too busy. The white in the tile looks too white for the cabs/counter. maybe its the photo? but if your cabs are an off white, then an off white tile should have been used,,,,but without that 4" piece. you can still remove it and continue down w/the tile.

notice how they did the edge where they stopped the tiles. (bullnose tiles)

and also, they make bullnose tiles for the edge,,or liners. maybe you didn't know?

it just looks neater and less busy when finished with a proper edging. you can still redo this as well.

it's a nice tile job though. and your dark flooring will look beautiful against the staircase.

Here. Is a better phot and thanks for the feedback

Pretty kitchen, I like your cabinets and tile but I think you will like it better without the granite mini backsplash. I wonder why your granite folks didn't mention it to you? I wonder if they could come back and remove it. There might be a few dollars involved to spend but then your tile would really look stunning.

looks nice,,sure wish you could remove the 4" piece. it will make for a cleaner look. you can pry it off without too much issue and continue w/your tile. It's a lovely granite top. I like how dark it is against the cabs.

boxer pal,,because the granite people don't care.
