I find I get such wonderful advice and inspiration from these discussions...

So another question: I recently purchased a small lake house and we are excited to get it furnished and decorated quickly (and pretty cheaply since it’s a second home!) One bedroom is a large open space that we want to use as a bunk room so that my kids can have lots of friends over. Unfortunately, the ceilings are pretty low and there is a ceiling fan so I want to avoid bunk beds. I’m thinking trundle beds. The room is 11’ 3” wide and 15’ long. The far wall extends another 5’ into what is basically closet space.

These pictures are not the best but would welcome suggestions as to layout and brightening this dark room. Thanks!
