Need help with snake plant

Hello! I have a snake plant, and the leaves are curling inward and flopping over. Is this due to under watering? I checked it yesterday, and it was bone dry. I watered it, but not heavily. Prior to that, I probably watered it sparingly about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The reason I backed off on the watering is because I nearly killed my other snake plant (with yellow margins) due to over watering! Ugh. Naturally I feel terrible, as I always do, when I inadvertently hurt my plants. :( Is it most likely due to under watering, or could something else be going on? Also, can it be saved, and if so, what steps do I need to take? Thank you in advance!

Stacy

PS: Sorry, but I can't seem to change picture orientation.
