No tadpoles yet! I do get them in the top of my rain barrel which has a indent to put a plant. It gets a inch of water and I either find tadpoles or mosquito larvae. I keep mosquito dunks in it f, doesn't bother the tad poles.

Nope, just mosquitoes. I'm going to buy some mosquito dunks for the containers I use to hold rainwater. I almost wish I hadn't give my rain barrel away.

Tadpole eat algea when they are young, when they start to develop legs they start eating larve tho if there is no larve they will eat other tadpoles.

Any container in my yard that I find tadpoles swimming in, gets dumped on the assumption that 99.9% are going to become frogs of the Cuban type. I've all ready have plenty of those.

danger, I'm not seeing Cuban Treefrogs here yet. I know they are up this way because we had a few in our old backyard just 20 miles south of where we are now. I have mostly Squirrel Tree Frogs and Green Tree Frogs right now. There's a bunch of little brown toads that I'm not sure of the name. Our muscovy ducks like to chase them.

I'm doing everything I can including not spraying fungicides or insecticides etc to keep the little green frogs happy until the Cuban frogs eventually show up.
