Now comes the mowing...if the yard dries up enough...the mower would bog down right now.

My yard is starting to get out of hand and it is to wet for my push mower to mow.

I hear you both, my yard is the same. Initially I was feeling a bit guilty, maybe ticking off a neighbor or two,...that is until I got a close up view of their lawns ! We're all in the same boat,.. tall, rough looking grass that'll just have to wait for things to dry out !

Rain is amazing, you can irrigate all day, every day just to keep plants alive but get a good rain and watch things grow.

I think we've have had enough of Alberto.

Estoy de acuerdo TC ! Enough of a good thing is,..well, a good thing ! My 2' deep swales still have 3" - 4" of rainwater at the bottom ! I drive my riding mower in there, - am not so sure I'd be able to drive it out !

I stopped into my local American Legion post early today. Memorial Day is a special day each year for all of us, no matter if its wet or sunny ! I wore a red Flander's Field poppy on my T-shirt !

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
