IF you have a DB catalog, the colors shown are true, meaning they will look on your pool as they look in the brochure. But what is truly critical is that you make sure your pool contractor gives you data on product batch numbers. You only get batch numbers when contractor uses legitimate Diamond Brite. I encourage you to call DB and get explanation from their sales dept. to further verify what I’ve written here. There is an incredible amount of pool contractors or subs who use generic or “same as” DB and the finish fades, or doesn’t spread evenly or doesn’t have the right amount of quartz aggregate to give you the brochure color you’ve selected. DB has little control on imitators and their only recourse is upholding warranty terms. You can’t provide product batch numbers, you don’t have a warranty. You have a problem: You’re SOOL.

I suggest you pay closer attention to legitimacy of product used vs whether product is too blue or too green or whatever. Pretty blue today means nothing if it’s completely faded after a couple of years, which is what often happens with fake DB.
