How about a large canvas photograph of a favorite landscape (forest, ocean, etc.). Something with a long depth of field to take your eye out...creating the effect of looking out a window. I've ordered canvases on Shutterfly and have been pleased. Below is a canvas of our wedding photo which I hung over our bed.

Mirrors can definitely work, but just not those mirrors. There too large for the space. Use smaller rectangular mirrors that down go below the nightstands and are wide enough that they don't go behind the bed.

Also use silver lamps with white shades because they give a reflective quality. Also slipcover the love seat at the end of the bed in a lighter color. The darker color is sucking up the light in the room. Artwork over the bed that has a white background. Good luck.

Why not pretend there are windows in the back wall (behind the bed) and put rods and hang curtains from them?

You can put art right above the bed, and curtain rods, with curtains on either sides of the art?

Smaller mirrors would work better.
The sofa should be placed against a wall...it is too bulky at the end of the bed.
Safety alert: most cities or jurisdictions require at least an escape window for a basement bedroom.

Not those mirrors. Maybe other mirrors. What if they were smaller and somewhat antiqued?

No to the sofa at the foot of the bed too. It is too large /overwhelming ... how about a smaller bench or chest?

Are you're trying to make your room look larger by using mirrors? You room could look instantly more spacious by removing the sofa at the foot of the bed. Way too big for that location.

I was about to write the very same thing that Sammy wrote ,a bedroom with no window is a trap I hate to think worse but please do not allow anyone to sleep there .
