Could we see more of the kitchen ?

I wouldn't got so light as the cabinets are real dark. But a pretty soft yellow would be pretty or a blue gray as stated above.. What do your floors and countertops look like?

The cabinets have a bit of a red tone in them. Green is opposite red on the color wheel which is what you want to do and your backsplash has some grey tones. Go with Benjamin Moore's Silver Sage. It is a very grey green and looks crisp with white trim. It will also make your silver/pewter knobs glow.

I would go for a light grey and white! Looks great with wood!

By the way the moldings and cabinets and backsplash are lovely. Enjoy! And send in a picture when you have decided and finished please.

I'm sorry, I liked the before better. Gray is very trendy but your cabinets really don't stand out now.
