Are you quilting this weekend? June 2-3

Good morning quilters! I hope you had a wonderful week. I didn't get as much accomplished as I would have liked, but my sewing room is getting organized slowly. To make the new quilting frame fit, I had to move and reorganize everything except my sewing tables. My DD helped tear it apart but I have had to put everything back myself.

DD is coming over today to sew again. I have several projects to work on too. Besides actually quilting, I am making dog beds with my scraps. I had several yards of twill fabric that I planned to use for cushions but changed my mind. I am using that for the dog beds and filling them with scraps. I am amazed at how fast the strings and scraps accumulate. The scraps are just the tiny throw away pieces and thread.

Just had a picture sent of DGGD1 sleeping under her " buggy" quilt. Mother says Charlotte "is in love with it". Worth the time and ' money". Charlotte is on the left. LOL.

Working like crazy to finish the 5 quilts for cousins today. Need to wash & dry them before party - tomorrow. (taking break now)

I hope so. I am still carting things downstairs from wherever it was stored during the Reno. But I did find some blues that should work for the June lotto.

Not me. Had a tooth pulled and an implant put in. My jaw is very sore today so hubby went in to work for me. I'm just gonna chill in my recliner with my ice pack.

My latest quilt is in the dryer, and I finally got my printer to accept the label fabric, so I'll be able to add the label. My SIL is coming over this evening and I'll give her the quilt then. It's a rainy cool day here, so I hope to get some more string blocks finished - 41 down, 7 to go. I hope to get another quilt top glue basted to batting and backing tomorrow, so I can have something to work on in that department too.

Carolnv, I used Printed Treasures Inkjet Sew-on fabric sheets. It was really humid yesterday, and I think that was part of the problem. The sheets were curling at the edge. It was drier today, and I ironed the sheets to press them flat. Then I took all the other copy paper out and put only the fabric sheet in the paper tray. Success at last, but I wasted two whole sheets, and they're pricey.

Good job, Glass! Glad you got done in time.

We spent the weekend working on the baseboards. We also pulled up a large section of the flooring in the master bedroom to fix a gap issue. The master bedroom is DONE! The guest room is done except for the little bracket that holds the bifold doors closed. The sewing room bifold doors are painted and ready to install.

We still have two more bifold doors to paint and baseboard to install in the living room, dining room and kitchen, and some trim to install along doorways. Our goal is to be done by the end of June. Then maybe I can get back to sewing!
