Looks like mushrooms to me...i've seen the red ones and brown ones before but the blue one and the one that looks likes mash potatos are new to me.

When I took the walking tour around the forest in Monticello, they explain all the different mushrooms and which ones were edible, but I would not try my luck.

In my garden I always pick them up so my dogs don't get any ideas...

The squirrels eat the shrooms in my yard, there are plenty of squirrels so they must know which to eat.

Silvia, I have what I'm pretty sure are honey mushrooms that come up around here every year, but I'm scared to eat them, because evidently, there is one type in that family that is poisonous. I wish I could get an expert to identify them, so I'd know if I could eat them. My mouth waters every year wanting them!

There's a page for Florida Mushroom hunters on that other big forum. Very helpful in identifying and there may be a person local to you willing to come out and share your bounty.

According to these people, chaterells are popping all over central Florida right now. Also there is a set of steps to follow to determine if your find is edible. One of them... WAY into the process!... is to taste and then spit it out. Please be VERY careful and fully educate yourself. There are guided shroom ID hunts available, too.
